OUR MISSION

GET ACTIVE!

Dr. Utkarsh Patel, DPT

DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

FOUNDER/CEO ACTIVE REHAB AND ACTIVE THERAPY (HEART CENTER)

BIO: "I moved to the United States at the age of 8 years old. I grew up locally - Fruitland Park. I did my elementary school, middle school and high school locally.

I went to University of Florida for my undergraduate degree and then went to Nova Southeastern University for my Doctorate degree.

Upon completion of my degree, I worked in the Villages. We started Active Rehab in 2014 and both of my businesses carry one simple fact:

I strive on excellence when it comes to patient care and I treat each of my patients as my extended family. I truly care for each one of my patients and have created a caring/warm environment for my patients to progress through rehab.

The human body is a wonderful creation and is resilient; I’m blessed to be able to treat and heal patients to allow them to return to their optimal level of function."

“I was not able to stand up from a chair and walk without assistance, until I met Dr. Payman and Dr. Patel. They explain, discuss and listen to their patients. I have improved by over 50% in strength, balance and stamina.”

“The physical therapy prescribed by Dr. Patel and implemented by all of you has had me make steady improvement. I will highly recommend Lady Lake Active Rehab to anyone needing physical therapy. The service is the best I have ever been involved with.”

WILLIAM S., 91YRS OLD

“Thank you for your treatment. Today I have no pain which is wonderful. When I first visited you I wanted to get in a wheelchair and be inactive. Since my therapy I play golf and very active in daily activities. Thank you.”
